Actually surprised at the lack of talks about the 2nd Kirby Air Riders Direct.

You could argue it was even more packed than the 1st Direct in some way.

I don't intend to finish that huge checklist, but the consideration Sakurai and his team has for players customization and enjoyment above all is really commendable in this industry.

Also, for the people who didn't understand the prices for the amiibos, welp, they're pretty BIG and high quality stuff with moveable parts on the vehicles apparently.
Imma have that Bandana Dee and Meta Knight amiibos, thanks !

Hell of a day for Switch gamers; AC Shadows, Fallout 4, and System Shock Remake announced, and Kirby Air Riders looking damn fine.

Good vibes.

Mega ferilagator is not good lol. I would much rather have preferred a regional variant such as the ones we got in LA.

Saw it.

They definitely went for the "we have a concept" more than the actual design part of it.

Although, it's largely in inoffensive when stacked against the rest of the new Megas I'd argue.

Decided to get a Switch 2 to play Metroid Prime 4. Other than that Octopath 0 is the only game I want that I don't own in other platforms (things like Persona 3, Elden Ring, Final Fantasy, etc I already have all them on PC or PS5)

So instead I'm thinking on replaying base Switch games with Switch 2 versions. TOTK comes to mind

Any specific title you guys recommend to replay?

Which Switch 1 games did you most enjoy?

Among those that have gotten major upgrades are Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Splatoon 3, Mario Odyssey, Zelda Echoes of Wisdom and Link's Awakening, and Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.

I like all those, except Echoes of Wisdom. But I no longer have Mario 3D World (gave it as gift to my cousin). Splatoon 3 I don't know if they keep getting Splatfast, I don't play ranked mode for a while now

My favorite games are both 3D Zeldas, Odyssey, Animal Crossing, Metroid Dread and Fire Emblem 3 Houses

I think on giving a chance to Xenoblade X. Not a huge fan of Xenoblade 2, but this one is open world right?

BOTW/TOTK both got big upgrades, as did Odyssey. I think the rest run the same though, for now anyway.

Xenoblade X is quite a different game to Xenoblade 2 in a lot of ways; it is open world and non-linear, different music and art style, and it's more technical in its mechanics, as well as being more sci-fi than fantasy.

How is combat compared to Xeno 1? Xeno 1 story and presentation are 10/10, but the combat loop started to bore me to death after ~30 hours
