The NS2 Pro is unfortunately out of my budget, so no matter how good it is I'm not buying until they release a Brazilian version, which can take some years

I'm asking if the NS1 pro controller works for all NS2 games, including the gyro and all controller functions and if there is any noticeable input leg when playing on NS2

And of course if the controller itself has good quality. Otherwise I will just try to find some third party controller for my NS2

Ahh gotcha. Yeah I can’t answer to that, unfortunately.

Also, I’m not saying a peep about The Super Mario Galaxy Movie other than this: Watch the film. This is a must watch without exaggeration. It adds to the overall lore of the Mario universe, and completely blows the OG out of the water.

Don’t forget: There are TWO post credit scenes. So stay till the veeery end.

Also got that Yoshi popcorn bucket! It was $60USD (oof!) but I’m hoping it’ll be worth a lot being how limited supply is. I believe there won’t be a restock, and I got the last one my theatre had.

I used the Pro 1 exclusively on Switch 2 for the first month or so and it worked flawlessly. I upgraded to the Pro 2 shortly after that. The Pro 1 is a great controller overall — Nintendo's second best, I'd argue, after the Pro 2.

However, I want to share one important caveat. You cannot bring your Switch 2 out of sleep mode with a Pro 1. It's a really annoying, unacceptable restriction.

Well all it takes to turn on is to go and click on the button, not an issue for me really

I wouldn't say it's a great movie, but it's certainly a good movie. Definitely better than the first one; you can tell they listened to fan feedback and took it to heart. Among several improvements all the licensed music is gone, thankfully.

I hope it makes enough money that we get a Donkey Kong Country spin off. ^^

I agree with this, honestly. As far as being a movie is concerned? Like with a story and a “Hero’s Journey” and such? Yeah, these video game movies are never going to blow me away— I’d still rather watch something like Wall-E or The Lion King any day. However, for what it aims to do (which is not much more than an amusement park of really fun Mario showcases), it’s a grand slam. I’d give it a 7 or 8 out of 10, which is much higher than the 4 or 5 I gave to the original.

Much better than the (very cheaply made) live-action Sonic 1 & 2 movies, which while featuring far better pacing and story, does lean a bit too heavily on being a kid’s film… that one scene where that one lady drives around in the golf cart shouting “Randall!!” is seared into my memory. Those felt like kid’s movies with Sonic characters slapped in haphazardly, whereas Mario feels entirely fresh and fitting to what you would expect from a Mario movie.

How the OG pro controller works on Switch 2?

I'm planning on buying the Pro, but it's crazy expensive in Brasil because they are all imported (talking about 120~130 USD)

Switch 1 pro controller I can get for 60 USD, given or taken

It works exactly like it did on the NS1, except that you can't use it to turn the NS2 on. I will get a NS2 Pro Controller eventually, but the first one continues servicing me well after all those years.

This fucking better not be an April Fools joke.

Hey I don’t mean to be a jerk, but could you explain the nature/content of the link and then spell out the URL? I find this clickbait approach frustrating. I feel like every one of these posts is a phishing attempt
