But sure maybe the new should focus on Trumpcare, which is going to cut 22 million people off medical coverage or his environmental record that's going to destroy most environmental regulations for the benefit of rich corporations.

Trump was pushing the birther issue before he was in politics at all. He did not use it during his running this term. He was not up against Obama, so how would it help.

Also he did not come up with the birther. It was someone on Hillary Clinton's team back during the democratic primaries in 2008. He just ran with it and beat that horse way after it was dead.

The birther thing was obviously politically motivated. Why the hell else would he do it?

Wether he did it to already then start building an antiestablishment character and fanbase in preparation for eventually running for president himself, or if it was to try and decrease Obama's support to help the republican candidate of the time, obviously it was a political thing.

This caught my eye. I think this is why CNN and MSNBC have credibility problems.

They don't do much fact checking while pushing their anti Trump agenda ad nauseam.

Quite frankly, I feel Trump is a guy who says things without doing much fact checking either. But when the media attacking him is also fucking up, that gives him an opportunity to hurt their credibility as well.

I'm sure someone has pointed this out, but Project Veritas is a godawful source which has done a number of these exposes in the past which have turned out to have been edited deceptively or full of some other form of BS. This has lead to them being sued and paying $100,000 and issuing an apology.

They will do anything to make someone say what they want to hear so they can snip it out of context and post it as propaganda.

Seems like what they did here is found someone who isn't actually involved with any of these investigations and works for CNN Health who is talking way out of his depth.

That's the advantage of state-sponsored (but not controlled) media. They have a specific mandate to inform, not to garner the most attention possible by all means.

I love when people have a problem with CNN and call it the worst thing ever when FOX news is still a thing.

CNN blowing things out of proportion doesn't mean that there is no truth to what they say.

If you and others of the left keep thinking/acting in this manner, you'll see a second term of trump again. Keep pushing the bullshit narractive of russia and hate trump at all costs.

I dislike Trump, but constantly mentioning russia/sexism/racism does nothing to explain why he may be viewed as an unfit president. As long as people constantly do this, he'll probably be on his way to another 7 years as president

It is really so sad to watch how us americans are fucking the greatest country on earth. And all that for Trump? I really dont get it. But i am in switzerland. I just can hope for you guys overthere. I dont need russia to be the new Power and also not Germany. I liked it how it was with the staates as the leader of the free world. Now with trump everyone is insecure. The alliance is diying.
