Honestly I've yet to see one in Germany. I've been through multiple Saturns here in Berlin and they had exactly zero. And I'm not talking about them being sold out, I'm talking about them seemingly not selling anything Switch related at all. No consoles, no games, no accessories, no ads. Weird.

I got mine exactly at midnight on launch. Since that time, I've seen a few here or there in person and then when I check again a few hours or a day later, gone. They're definitely getting snatched up quickly.

Good I got mine once it was available in Nintendo shop. At the moment, it's nowhere to be found in UK for RRP

I want it, I found it, but I found it at places selling it for more than $400 (PHP 20000+)

There are absolutely no consoles available in Switzerland (Europe) right now. Completely sold out everywhere. Waiting time is currently about 8 weeks.

I pre-ordered mine in December and got it on launch day together with Zelda. A friend of mine pre-ordered it in January and got it THIS week. This is rediculous.

Discounters make promotions for Switch to order it, but they have nothing in stock.

I am in Germany right now and the situation is similar, but not as difficult as in Switzerland. If you look at specific stores you can find a few ones, but Gamestop for example have nothing in stock.

According to world of games online shop the whole stock problems for specific small game shops exist, because the number of consoles Nintendo ship to stores depends on the shop's yearly total revenue. This means small shops (even if they are specific game shops) don't get as many consoles as large discounters. This is strange and not fair, because specific game shops can sell more consoles and games and have more pre-orders than discounters (at least world of games told me that).

I bought mine in MediaMarkt here in Potsdam. I was to the store the day before launch and talked to the guy and he said I should preorder, so I did. As I came after work the next day, the only Switches left were the preordered ones. In the Saturn in the Potsdam Hauptbahnhof I see Switch-games and accessories. I'm not sure if there was a console too, as I didn't exactly looked, as I already had one.

It was very easy really. I just needed to preorder within the first 30 minutes of the date announcements. Got in on launch.
