Well, sure. Still winning bragging rights with a good prediction is nice and having a prediction about something else than just pure numbers but a competition does spice it up

this thread is in response to the people who think Sony will close the 200 million gap in overall hardware sales against Nintendo. It will take decades if Sony is only shipping a few million more than Nintendo on a yearly basis.

Nintendo has been around for how long? Nintendo sales compared to Sony since PlayStation was released aren't something to brag about. Handhelds are different from consoles. Only Nintendo fans care about all time sales😂😂😂😂

I'd 100% be saying yes, if the Switch didn't have stock problems, but as long as they don't end up being that bad in the long run, and thanks to the 2DS XL I still think this still likely will happen. 1.96 million Switch's was way to low a number for the current demand, if they shipped just enough Switch's alone as Sony did PS4's they'd likely all sell.

Excellent quarter for ps4. Beating a handheld and a hybrid combined. Such good sales.

I do not expect Switch to outsell the PS4. I do expect it to sell over 10mil if they can keep up with the stock demand. They released Mario, Zelda, a New IP (ARMs), Xenoblade 2, Splatoon 2, and have the extra (while less impactful) incentive from Mario Rabbids and Fire Emblem Warriors.

The lineup for less than one year is just far too good for it to not continue to fly off of store shelves well into 2018, and we still have more to come.

Only Sony fans like to not count handhelds.  You might want to view the Switch as a handheld.
