Well, I know some of the people who preordered NES Mini summer 2016 did not get their systems.

No. NES library is better. SNES has it's gems that can compete with the top NES games, but NES has a lot wider range of great games than SNES.

Of course, it sucks for the ones who got their preorders cancelled because some stores don't do their job well and take more preorders than they can fulfill. But those are minority. My complaint is about those who don't preorder and maybe don't even go to the store day one and still hope to see NES Mini everywhere at any time. This is not a 3DS. This is not a Switch. This is a rare product not meant for such mass production. If you want it, you have to actively look for it from the moment it's announced.

But if the demand exceeds supply, it doesn't help if you preorder or not, as long as everyone else preorders it too. How would've the stores knew how many they're getting. I believe they were supposed to ship the preordered console as soon as it's your turn in the line.

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

yeah baby. I'm preordering 3 and scalping 2 of them .

Yes, you can make money by spending money! Of course, it's not something that I do personally, as I don't really have the money to purchase a whole bunch in the first place.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS

My first console ever <3

Just gimme Mario World, all 3 DKC games, disney games, etc and I'll buy 5 thx

It's definitely more helpful than not preordering. If you preorder a NES Mini, you have a very high chance of getting it.  The chances of your preorder being cancelled or delayed is relatively low, because the amount of consoles recieved, even if lower than expected, should not be that much lower than the preorders taken.

About the second line, that's how it usually works. If they don't recieve enough products at launch, you have to wait until the store receive more, having priority over other customers. That is... IF they receive more. Something that in most stores did not happen.

They should put in a regular SNES controller in that one.
The NES mini (and Famicom mini) controllers are so damn small xP

Aren't the NES mini controllers pretty much identical to OG NES controllers, even down to size? The only diffrence is that they have much, much shorter cables.

Not sure about the mini famicom though, those look small.

I imagine that the SNES Classic would be more expensive than $60.

I love the NES, but the SNES had some of the best games of ALL TIME!

Makes sense. The SNES has much better and more quality games than the NES. I doubt they could limit it to 30 games though. It'd had to be at least 40 to scratch most of the itches.

where can I pre-order mine?

2 copies again. like for the NES. but this is the plan.

NES mini was limited, people panicking... 3 millions will pre-order this that will not be limited at all... once all over.

Both consoles will be back in products full price - full stock.

in 5 year time same again.... Mini N64 and Mini virtual boy!
ahahahah

Switch!!!

I'll get excited about this if it turns out this isn't just another case of constant shortages for 6 months, followed by a unexplained discontinuation while a huge number of people are still wanting to buy the system. Right now I have no trust in Nintendo when it comes to the SNES Mini.
