No. NES library is better. SNES has it's gems that can compete with the top NES games, but NES has a lot wider range of great games than SNES. 

Of course, it sucks for the ones who got their preorders cancelled because some stores don't do their job well and take more preorders than they can fulfill. But those are minority. My complaint is about those who don't preorder and maybe don't even go to the store day one and still hope to see NES Mini everywhere at any time. This is not a 3DS. This is not a Switch. This is a rare product not meant for such mass production. If you want it, you have to actively look for it from the moment it's announced.

But if the demand exceeds supply, it doesn't help if you preorder or not, as long as everyone else preorders it too. How would've the stores knew how many they're getting. I believe they were supposed to ship the preordered console as soon as it's your turn in the line.
