Not overly surprising. Switch should have a broader audience in general based on its design, plus it can transfer some handheld users to its hybrid approach. NiN's marketing this time around has also been more than adequate in comparison to the Wii U.
I have to give NiN props though. With the PS4 and XB1S they have some stiff competition in the gaming market. Now the big hurdle is going to be keeping whatever momentum they have, after Scorpio launches, as well as through potential $199 PS4 and XB1S bundles this coming holiday season.
PS1 - ! - We must build a console that can alert our enemies.
PS2 - @- We must build a console that offers online living room gaming.
PS3 - #- We must build a console that’s powerful, social, costs and does everything.
PS4 - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.
PRO -%-We must build a console that's VR ready, checkerboard upscales, and sells but a fraction of the money printer.
PS5 - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.
PRO -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.
