If you were looking for an action game, well sorry then, but your Princess is in another castle.
It's also only natural that the game won't please everyone. What the hell do I know. I'm only 1 hour in and so far I like it. Except for the main character though. That guy is just way too cool. He doesn't respond whatsoever to anything, not even screaming when he gets a friggin' chainsaw in his chest or something. In my head the guy looks like a thug life meme, because he's just that friggin' cold. It kinda rips me out of the immersion, but whatever, just a minor complaint. It is already far FAR better than every Resident Evil game of the last 10 years.

re5, re6 >>> re7, back to the roots is highly overrated. no familiar characters, no coop, no 3rd person = no proper main line resident evil.

I disagree. Im sick to death of the RE characters. A co-op horror game is just ridiculous imo.
RE4 is still the masterpiece of the series though.

like always, sales will determine the direction future resident evils will go. i predict less lifetime sales than re5 and re6 but since re7 should have been cheaper to develop than the previous 2, capcom still might be able to profit.

They were predicting like 4 million on day 1 or something ridiculous like that.

It's main Platform is the PS4 im not suprised the steam sales aren't that great.
I won't pay much more than 5€ for it. Looks like your standard horror walking simulator with a bit of gunplay.
It reminds me in no way of the old RE games and it's a very short game too (for RE standards).
