I haven't played it yet, but that boss battle they showed at Microsofts E3 conference looked pretty bad. But usually FF games are in the upper tier of quality.

The gameplay is actually great. The storytelling is just an absolute human rights violation.

Disagree but won't engage

I haven't played it based on the fact I wasn't interested in the gameplay style of this FF game. I'm waiting for it to be £20 used, then I'll give it a go.

Thing is, even a bad FF game is still a good game and better than most. FF13, in all it's 'press X to play' mechanics and story told to you in datalog format, was still a good game overall, with superb graphics.

I expect FF15 to be pretty good when I do play it. However, when I played that demo in March or whenever it was, I started the game collecting things and jumping around... that's what you do in a platformer. I'm not here to play a platformer. It was a bad start.

Hmm, pie.

Still haven't played it. Ask that question once again in a couple of months!

Yes, of course?

Who would want to go on an adventure with a bunch of metrosexual guys on their journey to their big K-Pop casting gig?

Except for frantically screaming korean teen girls... of course.

I enjoyed it, however it doesn't have that Final Fantasy feel to it and I think that's due part to it being an open world game. I've always said FF massively story driven and never stray too much from that story during your playthrough but with this I went sonmany hours doing side quests and exploring that I was basically forgetting where I was in the story and what was happening.
I did like the characters and I liked how they interacted while exploring it gave them more personality and character, I hope it's something they keep doing with FF games but I do think making sonopen world next time and also go back to the active time battle system.

Add me if you want but let me know youre from this website

basically no to everything but especially no to the criticism of the hold button gameplay approach. if you want to repeatedly hammer your controlpad, go play beat'em ups or rhythm games. #keepyourbuttonmashoutofmyjrpgs

Umm no, no way

gameplay is nice, i like that, yeah combat feels good. the story.. sigh.. best incomplete game of 2016.

Well aside from the poorly told story, I had a great time with the game. I actually enjoyed how much 'downtime' there was, it was very relaxing for me to play and the main characters were stupid and likable. It's got egregious problems, but kudos for trying something different.

And judging by the responses to this thread, it looks like your answer is no. We're not all in agreement.
