Forums - Nintendo - Anticipated EShop Releases for Switch

I wonder what ever happened to 90s Arcade Racer. Must have been sucked down the kickstarter black hole.

If guacamelee comes out again, we can expect Severed too

Little Inferno, Human Resource Machine, Zen Pinball, Don't Starve, the Steamworld games, Denpa Men, Witch and Hero, Attack of the Friday Monster. All these games would be great to have sequels or similar games.

10 years greatest game event!

Shantae Half Genie Hero would be nice in addition to WiiU version

Ittle Dew 2 - The first game was on the Wii U.
Runner 3 - Bit.Trip Runner 1&2 were on the Wii and Wii U respectively, so this one's a given.
Stardew Valley - Already confirmed to be coming to the Switch.
Yooka-Laylee - Again, it's coming to Wii U, so a Switch version is very likely to come in the future.

Psychonauts 2 - Even though the first game isn't on any Nintendo platform, I really want to see this one on the Switch, it fits in nicely with the Nintendo audience imo.

I'll update this post with more if I remember anything else.

sad that it's only coming to switch : confirmed updates say wii u version is cancelled

I thought you were talking about Stardew Valley, but now I've realized that it's Yooka-Laylee you're reffering to. So it's confirmed for the Switch as well?

Quick edit: Also, it's sad but I can't really blame those devs, the Wii U is basically dead so it's not worth it anymore. I'm pretty sure Bloodstained will be cancelled for the Wii U too, it's just a matter of time really.

Apparently they changed the name of the game to 90's Super GP, but aside from that no one knows what's happening to the game, it's been months without an update.

I think it would be in a lot of these developers best interest to have a fire sale on many of these WiiU titles, especially if they have sequels or followups coming out on Switch. The reason sequels do so well is because of name recognition. They basically market themselves. Now is a great time to drop every one to half price and give people an opportunity to get excited about the next project.
