The movie came out like a few months ago lol - heavily advertised everywhere even in India when I visited few months ago.

I enjoyed the Jungle Book more than the animated version.

On this I will be curious how they handle the curse set up, because I always found it odd a kid being rude was cursed along with his servants.

You don't necessarily need people - it will be 3D animations in live setting. It's like jungle book without human characters.

Jungle Book wasn't even filmed on location, but the definition of live action is "action in films involving filming real people or animals". It doesn't matter if they use real world footage, it's not live action without something actually acting/performing live.

yea that's pretty meh, just a 1 to 1 adaptation from the cartoon film (and the animated objects look far worse this way imo)

Maleficent, the "live-action" spin off from Sleeping Beauty, was much much more interesting than this
