This is exactly right. Anyone who cites the PC model as an example doesn't understand how criticial the concept of "optimization" plays in the development of console games, and how poorly they would look and run if that is serverely hampered by supporting much larger, less optimized game engines that PC games utilize to support vast amounts of hardware.

I wouldn't mind if it's true. As long as the price falls in line. Which I think is...as possibility. Since Nintendo isn't focused on disc media from what we have seen, the NX won't need any huge moving parts, thus eliminating the need for a blu ray drive of any kind. That knocks a large portion of cost out the window, to be used for graphics or cpu.

If So, Nintendo needs to push 4K streaming at least to combat the lack of a disc drive.

I believe it. These rumors are far more plausible than a weak 720p tablet with a dongle.
