Not sure about Culipechi, but it was obvious why Meret made that post. He has a long history of trolling the Vita on this site.

I would agree with you but... im always happy to see a certain user be moderated so

People are allowed to post negative comments, but you generally have to provide a reason for what you write. If you say "Uncharted 4 sucks", you also have to write why you think so. If not, your post is just (intentionally or not) a drive by insult that won't foster reasonable discussion, and will just serve to rile people up.

Positive posts aren't moderated as harshly because they don't really incite the same toxic environment as those drive-by insults do, but I am still annoyed by content-less posts, regardless of wether they are positive or negative.

There are mods that certainly abuse the little power they have in here, I've seen it quite a few times. Being a moderator doesn't grant you suddenly & magicaly the wisdom, maturity & ability to do a good moderating job! Some do very well, others not quite so...

People are fragile little fuckers. Best to just validate all their opinions and make them feel good about everything they do in life =)

Or just be a dick to everyone all the time. That way people will eventually brush it off as you being an ass, rather than just picking on them specifically, which is the part that really gets to them.

Yeah but is just calling games something like niche or indie (not even saying they suck) without giving reasons for that wrong now? I mean, if it is then I dread to think how many bans there will be the next time there's a thread about PS+ or GWG games

Context is key. At least Meret has a history of trolling the Vita and it's library, so his comments will be moderated with that taken into account.

EDIT: but now that I checked this thread

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=219875&page=1#57

And some moderations in there, I think Super_Boom has been really strict with these moderations.

Of course negativity should be allowed but at the same time members shouldn't use it to troll and flame.
Those quotes you pointed out, they don't look to bad but I'm looking at them as an isolated incident.

There have been quite a few times where i've seen a user moderated for a post and i'll think "That really didn't deserve a moderation for that at all".

Freedom to be negative for just vita or all games and consoles?

l <---- Do you mean this glitch Gribble?  If not, I'll keep looking.

As if negative comments about a company would be a new thing or would be moderated...
