Can't wait, I don't think i'll get the NX until later but I can't wait to see what it is :P

I don't know why people keep getting surprised by a September prediction. (this is a prediction not a known source or something...)

Once you hit October, all companies are focused on their Xmas marketing. Nintendo won't want to disrupt any push it has for 3DS and WiiU by announcing NX in Q4.

So Nintendo will either have a ND in September early/mid OR will wait for January which is way too late for a March launch.

Considering Nintendo stated they'd reveal it in 2015 and they have only done NDs for many years now... the only obvious option is a Nintendo Direct in September.

I'd place it sometime between 9/8 (after Sony) and 9/20 (not too close to October). This would give time for initial buzz to be great but not overshadow Q4 launches like Pokemon, MiniNES and other stuffs.

Does Eurogamer get everything first these days? Maybe it just seems that way because I'm only half paying attention.

Either way, I think Nintendo need to just announce this thing. Hopefully it will be next month, very exciting times.

If true, I'm glad I'm wrong. I guessed November but it really should have been shown already imo.

NX is coming in March 2017, so revile want change that date in any way, so if you really had some interest in NX you would wait revile because you cant buy NX before March 2017 in any case.

Pretty much already talked about this. All and all Sony has nothing to prove, Nintendo does. And before anyone here starts screaming 3DS, it had a price cut very early in it's life to get sales moving. At $250 it sat on shelves. 

And I feel this needs to be repeated, it sat on shelves at $250.

Didn't the lack of must own titles also affect the 3DS sales? The first must own titles came out in November and  December.

I'll most likely end up owning whatever NX is, as long as its not a handheld. I just most likely won't be there at launch. Unless the launch library is awesome.
