I'm not expecting 4k capable consoles at all *shrug*
Slim will be 250
Neo between 400 and 500 depending on HDD size(s)

Nobody is talking about 4k games, I hope. Except for some very, very basic games.
wouldnt put it past playstation to go 199 with the slim if it does lack 4k media and the neo at 449 for the hardcore enthusiasts. If generations are a thing of the past all that matters right now is the install base.

WSJ have a near 100% accurate track record. If they say something it's more likely to actually be true. |
Can you provide evidence if this is actually happening ZhugeEX?

Well, yes but the $99 pricepoint is associated more with the GameCube since it started having it after just 2 years.

Maybe the ps4 leak was wanted from sony itself, you must think the last sale numbers in us won microft with there new slim, and sony need still 4 weeks till release, so best thing they can do is, that people know that sony has there own slim, and that it's worth to wait a little bit...
Seems like so m any people (across VGC in general not just this thread) are predicting the NEO to only cost $349 (Current standard PS4 price) -$399, What kinda specs are they expecting for this price tag? No way are we going to get a 4.5 flops or what ever the rumoured amount was at $349 unless Sony want to go into an aggressive price war and take $100 loss per NEO sold which they don't need to do.
