I don't want it to die. If the PS2 died, Sony would lose massive profits. I have nothing against Sony or this marketing strategy. If you don't like PS2 -> Wii ports, then don't buy them. There are lots of good Wii exclusives to play. I'm fairly sure that by the end of this year, the PS2 will be nearly dead anyway.
