No it doesnt.

Look at how pretty some Wii U games are.

I refuse to believe it gets anywhere near technical limits, unless they coded it really poorly, spent no time optimising it, or just had insanely bad and miss managed resource usage. Which I guess you could argue because of the gamepad gimmic aim part.

Still can you think of a wii u game that looks worse than Starfox Zero? I cant right now.

No other Wii U game recreates two different points of view both at 60fps. Comparing it to Mario Kart, Bayonetta or others is just not fair.

Thats just it... I dont see why Starfox-zero haveing 2 points of view, means you cant compaire it to other games on the Wii U.

Its on the wii u, and it looks like crap compaired to other games on it.

Looks ok now, but really not beautiful.
The art style is outdated and the graphics are decent.

Dont you mean the Art Style is decent, but the graphics are outdated?

Sad to say but the actual generation of gamers look at the graphics before the quality of the contents. And the problem is they are falling for it after every release of a franchise... people would buy everything that shine before something that will give them pleasure.

The game has a handicap, which is the fact that is rendered in two screens. You can always compare two games, of course, but if people wants to do a factual analysis people should acknowledge this. I mean, you can compare screenshots of different games, but that won't change that fact, and SF:Zero has a clearly desadvantage to begin with in that comparison.

Then compair it to another IP by one of the 3 that just got a reboot.

Like Rachet & Clank.

It supposedly has a 15hour campagne. It looks like your playing a pixar movie, and the gameplay is the best its ever been for its series.

vs

Starfox zero

It supposedly has 3,5hours campagne. It looks like a early gen 360 title in graphics, people hate the gamepad controlls often saying it takes them 2-3hours to get used to it. Gameplay doesnt really look that amazing.

Well, yeah, Ratchet & Clank looks great but it's a PS4 game, if it turns out to look worse, it wouldn't make a lot of sense. About length, that was discused before, SF:Zero has 10 hours worth of new levels and new paths, it's not fair comparing just the length of the campaign when you have new levels locked in-game. Which I think it's enough, though not R&C levels (or The Witcher 3 levels for what it's worth it :P). About gameplay, there's no way to know unless you try. Also, people don't hate the gamepad controls, some people like them, some not, it was a mixed reaction, not a widespread negative reaction as some people are trying to make us believe. Which is obvious since it's a new control scheme. The fact that Digital Foundry was positive is encouraging for me.

Ok guys. If you're not satisfied enough about the graphics, then let's ask Nintendo to lock the game to 30 FPS and substract the gamepad point of view from the game. Maybe you'll get your ''beautiful'' graphics and textures then ....

That is exactly what most people want.

Alot of people are dissapointed by the graphics.

They would rather have a rock solid 30 fps, single screen starfox game, that in turn looked much much prettier.

I'd rather have a single screen, but I would much rather have 60fps than 30fps.

Let's be honest Star Fox Zero looks terrible for a 2016 game...
It could be a 2005-2006 game imo but nowhere near to be called a true 8th gen game.
Just compare it with Ratchet & Clank on PS4, Sony and Insomniac Games put so much love in that game. But Star Fox Zero looks like it isn't even finished by Nintendo, probably because Nintendo wanted to release the game as soon as possible for the Wii U.

Smooth 30 FPS >> 60 FPS

Lol.

I prefer higher frame rate, sorry mate

Starfox on the SNES ran at like 19 fps.

No one complained back then about fps.

Also theres no reason you cant have a 60 fps game that looks better than what Starfox Zero does.

^ that is my issue.

Its not just the graphics alone. Starfox Zero doesnt look like the standard you expect from Nintendo.
