Too early to say. NX could suck (in terms of being a flop) ... it's not impossible, Nintendo did totally fuck up with the Wii U and flustered the GameCube.

And no one says the opposite. But to predict the failing of the device without knowing a single bit about it like Pachter has done, speaks volumes about him as a person and abou the reliablility of his predictions.

I've seen many people say that Nintendo will try to get lucky with a gimmick once again, but I just don't see what gimmick would bring back the casuals. They are busy having fun with their smartphones and tablets. At the same time, I don't see "hardcore" gamers put down their PS4s and XB1s.

EDIT: Miyamoto has also said that Nintendo is not interested i ncatering to casuals anymore, so yeah.
