Sure.

We do our part, but there's not much more we can do as a team if there is no discussion for us to guide. We have banned *so many* trouble causers over the last 12 Months, but if Xbox fans aren't making discussion outside of the Empire thread then thing's will never change.

Sure.

When I say both ends, I mean Xbox fans and non-xbox fans. The mod team has done well and it's a better place for it. Problem is there isn't much discussion going on in the Empire(Republic) thread, they're simmply MIA.

I like the Xbox brand quite a bit but talking about Xbox never ends well. The threads always get hijacked. I keep my thoughts to myself these days.  "Xbox pride" is stomped out quickly and efficiently, here.

I'm a Nintendo fanman, however, I suspect the Nintendo numbers will drop considerably after the NX is released. Not to say the NX will be bad, I just think people (including myself) go crazy with anticipation when we don't know what it is exactly. And when the Nintendo # drops, I suspect the % will be more balanced with the other 2.

Not sure if you missed my post just before yours, but I have performed polls to each different userbase for three years in a row (first year was a dud). At present (compared to 2015), there was a notable reduction in XB1 participation but also the WiiU participation has dropped by half.

I'll repeat the polls during E3, when I assume the site will be busier... but I wasn't aware of the bolded, that could explain the low XB1 participation. I'll be sure to link the poll threads to each compilation thread when I redo them this summer.

I don't like compilation threads, things tend to get lost fast and it's hard to follow for someone like myself (who comes to VGC a few times a week). I understand why they are there, for chit chat and small info. Still separate threads is a better way to promote discussions.

I take issue with the expected idea that more xbox fans are needed for diversity, particularly when the lack of interest in the platform seems to stem from the lack of diversity the xbox platform offers.

That's hogwash. You don't think more of a different fanbase isn't going to add different opinions/ideas/votes? Maybe not needed but it'll certainly generate it.

Xbox Platform has plenty to offer is terms of diversity, not sure where you are going with that.
