Meh, I applied several times to be a mod and never made the cut. My schedule just didn't work with their needs. Don't take it personally, I'm sure they don't think you are a bad user by any means.

Besides, being a mod is a lot of work for no pay and constant attacks from angry users...it's a tough gig.
