Overall Quality........I'd have to say N64. Mario 64 alone was worth buying the system for. Nothing was like it anywhere.

i dunno how how i would make an entire list but dreamcast would be #1 for sure, it shouldn't even be close if you actually list every game.

1. Xbox (Halo + Jet Set Radio = Win)
2. Snes Super Mario World
3. NES SMB + Duck Hunt one of the best combos in the world.

PSP wins, it had great games at launch, and the only good games until GTA and the present.

Whoever said PS2 is just being silly, or quite frankly doesn't remember it. PS2 had a very mediocre launch lineup (especially next to the DC) and didn't really have any games worth owning until 2001. I seem to recall several people and critics taking aim at the PS2's launch just because the games were so bland.

Was there a lot of fluff? Sure, it's a launch. It's bound to have some. There were three games worthy of that elusive "AAA" title people like to give around here...at launch! There were also three more great games ranging in the 80s. Was it better than the Dreamcast's? Of course not, nothing ever was. The Dreamcast launch was a beast and PS2 had to follow it up, which was a losing battle from the start. Sony only coming out with Fantavision at launch didn't help matters any, but luckily EA stepped in with fire and Eidos, Tecmo and Namco provided us with gems.
