Because last story was unique 

And they are from different studios so not a great comparation

Final Fantasy is unique, too.

The studios might be different, but the director and compositor are the same in both cases.

Never played any of those games on my Wii but I voted for The Last Story because I want to see what title they can give to a sequel.

What has the director of monolith soft to do with nintendo i say that nintendo has a different policy than square

definitely the last story, but a final fantasy style sequel. new characters, new story. non canon style. last story was easily my fav of the op rainfall games. the story, gameplay, characters and especially music really hit home for me. My only 2 small complaints were graphics (it was not a pretty game) and i felt like they rushed the end just a little. could have done some more forshadowing for the end.
