What are you guys talking about, we already have a Metal Gear Solid without Kojima, its called MGS V Chapter 2 and 3

In this day and age, with the Internet, ignorance is a choice! And they're still choosing Ignorance! - Dr. Filthy Frank

Hand the franchise over to a western dev. The tamagotchi motherbase crap was a complete waste of time. I dont care how much it links to the story, it was pointless and would have been much better without it.

Kojima & Co did good with the gameplay, but leave the design and dialogue to someone else please.

Seeing is believing Konami.

Just like how Mega Man doesn't need Inafune, am I right?

Whatever you say, Konami...

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I don't think anyone can separate Kojima from the Metal Gear Solid series, but even then where will they take it? The series went into a full circle, and the last chapter featured a tangent story line with a few connections to future events.

Metal Gear Solid was basically Kojima's whole career and making a game without his direction would most likely produce a game that won't sit well with the fans, especially after Konami fired and relocated most of their important staff.

.- -... -.-. -..

I though Kojima's crazyness and over the top stories were the entire charm of Metal Gear.

They'd have to have some damn talented artists to be able to replace that. And another problem is that with such an artist focused series, another arist trying to emulate someone else's feel and nuances will always come across as a cheap imitation.

I LOVE ICELAND!

I thought they stopped all AAA development except pes
