Many, yes. Even as recently as a few hours before this new broke. The were certainly more instances of what you're describing, but i'd credit that more to VGC's fanbase ratios than anything. I saw the reverse in places where xbox fans were more prevalent (e.g. misterxmedia and his merry band). The 6 month thing was at least half right :p

I really like this announcement. By the time the PC version is out (approx 3 months) I might not be as overwhelmed by the other games I plan on playing first. Nothing beats a souped up PC for single player games.

Seriously, I'm thinking of digging up some r/xboxone threads just to show how prevalent that whole "it'll come to PC but never to PS4"-thing was in other places.

Well, I don't know that much about other sites, honestly. GAF is like VGC in this case. Some die-hard Xbone users but the majority is pro PS4 and there are way more posts from them than from Xbone users.

Of course I can reach out to places and point to it saying "here, here! There are thousands of those saying so!" but I think it'd be better for the discussion itself to keep it at VGC and what is happening here because that is something we all can comprehend here. I don't and can't care for other parts of the internet.

I personally think that simply not making jabs at a single fanbase for only being half-right is a better approach to a discussion. Stuff like that just perpetuates the 'us and them' nonsense that's so prevalent on gaming forums. I don't think that was your intention, but it's all comment like that ever accomplish, even when there isn't a similarly popular counter opinion on the 'other side'. Ah well, each to their own i suppose ^^

I just want to make fun, seriously. The wars are in full engage mode everywhere. Terms like "salty" "eat crow soon!", all this stuff when people are happy that others are angry. We are talking about games here and that is, in the end, something we do in our spare time to have fun.

Now it's happening that PS4 is winning and will continue to do so which makes people think they also "win" and have a certain attitude against other users who chose the "wrong" console for being also "wrong" by default, no matter what they say. Are there still good and bad users on both sides? Definitely! But we have to see that there is a certain inbalance in discussions on GAF and here.

Let's take the 1080p-threads as of late. These threads are full of people talking about 1080pr and all the stuff but almost no one from the "other" side is able to say "good for xbone. I am glad they get better resolution in the end". No, of course not. We see comments about how bad MS is, how desperate they are, how weak the hardware is and these posts are way more in a thread where most people don't even own the console where the game is going to be released. And I guess this side can easily cope with a post like mine ;)
