Despite all of these measures, the Xbox One is still behind the PlayStation 4. As long as that is true, they probably want to make as much money as they can. When they feel the time is right, they will be just as aggressive as well.

They don't need to be. Plus they are more focused on making money, compared to MS which is willing to lose billions for Xbox (again).

Agree actually. For Sony's bottom line a longer generation (7-8 years) allowing them to hold various price points is better financially than cutting for market share only to reset in a few years.

They don't really need to be. Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed marketing will make a big impact.

Actually didn't they state that one of there main goals was to increase install base?

The PS4 is regularly winning NPD's. If they can do that and still make money they're happy.
