I've never been disappointed with a Nintendo system. Why wouldn't I? The day that Nintendo robs me with a shitty system, I'll stop blindly purchasing their systems. But so far, I have a 100% satisfaction ratio with them on their hardware.

I wouldn't call the Wii-U or Wii shitty but when it comes to the hardware robbing the devoted Nintendo fan is exactly what they have been doing for these past two generations. Wii was a slightly spect up Gamecube for $250 and was succesfull thanks to the motion control hype. With Wii-U Nintendo again produced an underpowered and even more expensive system, purely in the hope of scoring the interest of casuals once again. These decisions were against the interests of the tradittional Nintendo gamer. If any it's comparable with what Microsoft did by bundling Kinect with every Xbox One at first. It made the system unnecessarily expensive for people who were not interested in motion controll.
Again i'm talking hardware here, game wise Nintendo has delivered some great titles. Though lately even on that front they seem to be losing touch with their fan base(new metroid game).

I understand your point with wii and wiiU, but my main reason in buying their systems is for their first party titles. They deliver on that, they can count me in. For all I know, their next system could be non-HD (it won't happen but it's just an example) and I'd still be more then happy to spend 200$+ knowing that they would deliver me a dozen+ great to amazing games over the next 3-4 years.
Again, for me, I just see the initial 200-300$ investment as a purchase to actually play all of their amazing IPs. I'm not really buying their hardware to get the most beautiful graphics or to get the best price-hardware ratio.
