What the hell are u talking about? I know the OP doesn't know more than Iwata, but it's his thread and he said for the sake of consistency pretend it's a fully unified approach. Also, Miyamoto himself said there is a possibility of making games playable on either device so let's not pretend it's an impossible scenario.
