never. You will never get good software support on a nintendo console. Even wii was much worse then ps360.
almost no wii games in 2010,2011,2012. No wii u games in 2013, first half 2015. Nintendo cant support a console on theirselfs andi doubt they will get third partys back soon.

He said it would be a unified concept so all handheld & console games playable on either device, meaning u have to take into account both sides of Nintendo's output. Here is the list of Nintendo published titles in 2015.

Flipnote Studio 3D

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D

Pokémon Shuffle

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars

Codename S.T.E.A.M.

Mario Party 10

Fossil Fighters: Frontier

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D

Boxboy!

Pokémon Rumble World

Amiibo Tap: Nintendo's Greatest Bits

Stretchmo

Puzzles & Dragons Z+Super Mario Bros. Edition

Splatoon

Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure

Art Academy: Home Studio

Little Battlers Experience

Devil's Third

Super Mario Maker

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer

Chibi Robo!: Zip Lash

Yoshi's Woolly World

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon

The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes

Yokai Watch

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water

Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash

Star Fox Zero

Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival

Xenoblade Chronicles X

That's 30 titles in a single year, 2013 & 2014 look pretty similar as well.

actually hr did not say this-  a unified concept yes- but he specifically said they would not have all/most games developed for both systems-  go back and read it

The OP says a hybrid system, the successor to both 3DS & Wii U-go back and read it.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Probably mid-2017. I've never bought a system at launch. Won't start now.

First day for sure, let see what it brings and when but I'm looking forward to it.

Unless it launches with a massive open world Pokemon RPG. Then I'd obviously buy it at launch.

Same here, with 3DS I waited about 6 months, it had a price cut by then along with Ocarina of Time having just released and 3D Land/Mario Kart 7 just around the corner. With Wii U, I waited a little over a year, it had 3D World/Pikmin 3/Wind Waker and Mario Kart 8 about to release.

I always wait until Pokemon is announced before I buy the next handheld, so I got my 3DS about 6 months before XY came out. I'll likely do the same with the NXDS.

With the Wii U, I got it the summer after launch, and even that was way too early in retrospect. I can tell already that it will be different for the NX though, considering their unified platform plans and their obvious plans to make the system absorb the Wii U's architecture, implying seemless digital BC.

Ya even though Nintendo has had a rough time this generation, I think they are going to be very successful in the coming years with their more streamlined approach to their dedicated gaming business along with the increase of revenue sources.

-NX "family" of devices

-Mobile games/apps

-Amiibo figurines/cards

-Quality of Life products

-IP licensing (rides/films/series)

I think Nintendo could potentially return to DS/Wii Era profits in the next 5 or so years.

We know it'll have Nintendo games, the whole point to buying a Nintendo system.

Well that's enough info for a console purchase...I don't need to know what the games are just that they were made by Nintendo...

You should basically know what the games are considering Nintendo's library on any given system consist almost entirely of new installments to pre-existing franchises. There's no reason to believe that'll change with the NX. It will most likely get more Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, Smash, etc.

No iv seen them burn their fanbase bad with the wiiu, would never trust them.
