Yes, but 9 months ago they swore it was a 2015 game so that doesn't mean too much.
Fundamentally, they got it wrong! E3 is, for better or worse, about generating hype and they clearly misread their customers' expectations in this regard, with their very poorly received presentation. Don't come to E3 with no new flagship games to show. A short Zelda trailer and a teaser of whatever Retro is working on would, along with the decent lineup for 2015, have gone along way to elevating their presentation and giving their customers hope for next year and beyond.
