If there is a proper HD Metroid for Wii U at this E3, I'll eat a live sea urchin.

I really hope so! It might not be the Metroid U everyone wants though.

We had a Metroid on every Nintendo console except the N64, next year is the 30th anniversary, the fans clearly want it, Retro is already working on some project. Believe!

Just watching the Blast Ball at the NWC, everything about it (music, HUD, text, charge beam, power ups etc.) screamed Metroid Prime. I'd argue this was infact a multiplayer mode for the actual title, which will be revealed tomorrow.

i doubt that. The players fight in giant robots, a litle bit like the dolls in xbx. not much metroid related to that game.
I hope so but Nintendo have the tradition of disappointing me and I'm "convinced" they will announce some cartoony looking game instead....
| Illusion said: Yes, and I would love for it to be a Metroid Prime on the Wii U (that said I would settle for a 2D Metroid on the Wii U or 3DS). I actually can't believe that a Prime hasn't been made for the Wii U yet. The scan visors are pretty much the best application for the gamepad that I can think of on the Wii U. I'm actually really surprised that Metroid Prime 4 wasn't a launch title on the Wii U as it could have been a very good showcase for using the gamepad. |
yeah and considering how good metroid prime even looked on the gamecube, im very sure that metroid will be the best looking wii u game we wil ever get. As a start title it could to a lot. Even later it could do alot, alot more then dk:tf do be honest.
