And you don't feel as though the HUD, the life (99 health?), the charge beam, the vizor showing up etc. doesn't feel Metroid-y to you?

We have seen nothing of this new game. They never elaborated on the game. Why couldn't you also have characters in mechs like this? I'm not saying it's a dead cert but it's what it looks like to me.

Honestly, I would be surprised if we don't have Metroid on E3.

yeah ok its at least possible but for me seems very unlikely. I think this is more a small eshop title and the creators got inspired by the metroid series. A little bit like the metroid mini game in nintendoland. 

 

I also highly doubt we would see a 3d metroid in 3ds. Nintendo themself said they want to keep 2d and 3d metroid alive and a 3d Metroid on 3ds but 2d Metroid on wii u doesnt make any sense in my opinion.

If we see any metroid at e3 it will be 3d on wii u and 2D on 3ds in my opinion but lets see.
