Wait what?!?! You are serious? Wow OK well lets get one thing straight minus the virtual couch it really isn't VR at all!!! Next its not even possible to use this with just an X1. Lastly the exposure its getting isn't a good thing, have you seen the reactions to this? It's the laughing stock of the gaming community right now. The only thing this is accomplishing is tarnishing the perception of VR as a whole regardless of "Camp". 


I've  heard nothing but bad things about it. At most I saw a few comments saying it was kind of cool.  The fact that anyone can try and spin this as MS > Sony in VR space is laughable. Sony has a studio dedicated to VR games and is going to be realeasing a VR headset that actually works with the PS4 no PC necessary.

Actually it's PC exclusive. However you also require the Xbox One Console Accessory in order to be able to utilise this functionality XD


So this costs...1600$ PC+One+Oculus ?

 

Thats kinda stupid, and why anyone with a 1000$ PC would buy One since most of it's games are on PC



Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

Well, the PC I got in January that cost £800 pretty much meets the recomended specs for Oculus Rift. So... yeah haha.

Sadly I do still want an X1, but I really REALLY want Sunset Overdrive and Forza Horizon 2. I'm hoping the console drops to £200 before Xmas though as I can't justify any more at all.

 Sunset Overdrive will likely release on PC, it's not owned by Microsoft and IG said they are interested in PC and knowing the past of exclusives...

So you should really really want forza horizon 2 to buy a X1 right now

Sad thing is, I really really do. But something most people on this forum don't know about me, is I bought a Dreamcast mainly for Sega Rally 2 and didn't regret it! Lol

However I still stand by the £200 price point for hardware.
