Its ok. I mean, not even racing games have split screen now.
If it wasn't for Nintendo the concept of "couch multiplayer" would have been dead long ago.
Well that's shit. For halo fans. Me.. ..I stopped playing halo in 2004.
It's a shame really.
Though I will always prefer local system link.

If you get bored playing Halo singleplayer, maybe you're not really concerned about the direction of the franchise itself but just the lack of co-op feature. Halo is about single player and multiplayer, if there's a performance issue with co-op implementation, sack that sh*t. I'm used to pass the controller around anyway, like groupies.

Friends tried to organize a FIFA online party and after weeks of issues we all just went to one house and all played on the same screen and had a blast. To me online will never replace the feel of being with a friend. I really hate how multi player in games feels so backward now compared to 15 years ago.
2000 - One system, one game, four controllers = Evening of fun with friends
2015 - Four systems, four games, four controllers and an online connection = Unreliable and less enjoyable evening with friends

Why does everyone think that when you voice an opinion that it's not allowed to be criticized? If you're allowed to voice your opinion, then he's allowed to have an opinion about your opinion and voice it.

I remember i played Halo 1 & 2 split screen with my friend, having great dinner XL diet cokes & tacos.... Ahhhh good time... Good time...

Like seriously as screens have gotten bigger splitscreen has gone away.
I used to play splitscreen on like tiny as fuck 20 inch (probs smaller) screen as a kid, now I cant even do it on a giant ass projector.
*sigh*
Well I guess Im not missing out on much anyway if there last 2 outings are anything to go by.
Well, I guess its expected given the way console gaming has been heading.
It's a real shame (not just for Halo 5 players but generally in gaming) that local multiplayer and co-op has all but disappeared from the console scene. I'd say there is a huge gap in the market just waiting to be filled.
