Halo 4 only felt a bit short. And Spartan Ops could have been more.

But Halo with Bungie felt pretty much stuck.

Saleswise maybe. Not yet sure where the install base will lead Halo 5 and how many might get on board. But i actually think it will still do well.

H4 has the best sp campaign of any Halo game and I don't care about mp much so for me, 343i is the best thing that could have happened Halo :).

EDIT: I must also add that the H5 mp is the vest one in the series besides H2 so I might just do some mp :).

Not in the least. Halo 5 beta was the best shooter I've played in ages.

Many of your reasons were also used against Halo 4, and look how well that sold.
I think Halo 5 will end up selling 9m copies. So there will be a slight decline but nothing significant.

I haven't played Destiny yet.  I might get it on PC or Playstation 3 if the price is right.  It is very popular on Twitch.

Halo 5 beta was fine and worked well but at E3 they have the ability to pump us up for the game or dissapoint us. Should really wait till E3 to be concerned or not...

I just hope they won't be call of dutying halo 5, and they better bring dual wielding back at least in the campaign

Just out of curiosity what do you think XB1's Lifetime sales will be? The first Halo on 360 sold 12m at the height of the series and 360 ended up selling over 80 million units.
