Out of those option in the poll I've only played Battletoads and KI. I don't like fighting games at all so I suppose I'll vote for toads. That old NES game is so difficult though I've no idea how I liked it as a kid.

We got plenty of EA info today:

-SW Battlefront 2 coming Holiday 2017, will have content from multiple Star Wars eras (not just original trilogy content like the previous game) and a singleplayer campaign. More maps, weapons, heroes, ships, and game modes at release than the previous game as well.

Brilliant business. Revive a franchise as bare bones as possible, then look like a hero for adding all the things that should have been there from the start on the second go around.

-Sports wise, FIFA, NBA Live, UFC, Madden, and NHL all confirmed to have new games coming before March 2018. Madden making the switch to Frostbite.

Why do they even keep bothering with NBA Live? Literally nobody cares

-A new Need For Speed is coming before March 2018.

Meh

-Bioware's new IP is coming in Q1 2018. Multiplayer focused action-adventure with RPG elements. Began development in 2012 (5+ years of development).

Interesting. Wasn't expecting anything multiplayer focused. I'll reserve judgement, but that in and off itself is a bit disappointing. At least EA let them take their time with it, so that's a good sign

-EA confirmed that Skate 4 isn't in development in spite of rumors that it is in development.

Meh

-Titanfall 2 performed under EA's expectations, but it's not dead, they confirmed they have long term plans for Titanfall.

I hope their plan involves actual planning....like you know, figuring out a non-idiotic release window

-Battlefield 1 performed over EA's expectations, first DLC coming in March.

Expected

That me1-3 team(their best) has been working in dark ever on this ip ever since the 3rd mass effect shipped. Can't wait to see what they can do with that long of dev time.

Edit

just thought about something. With the way ME3's ending was received. Even causing one of the owners to leave the company. All the backlash. Biowares name basically in the dirt online(even though it reviewed really well). Those guys working on the new ip have probably have a chip on their shoulder, and are out to prove something. And I frankly can not freaking wait to see what it is.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

It was a pretty good month, especially when you consider that both Earthlock and Far Cry Primal are 20+ hours each. Still managed to play through Murdered, Octodad and Saints Row Gat out of Hell. However for Saints Row I did a bit of a speed run, as I already completed it on 360. Was through with the main story after around 3 hours.
I hope to finish (and get 1000G in) FC Primal within the next 3 days. No idea what I'll be playing next. Probably continue XCOM 2.

- No body cared about FIFA on PS1 and PS2 Era and see what happened last generation. The popularity of NBA is increasing worldwide. 2K games started outselling Madden even in the US. They want a share of that. And a FIFA situation might happen again.
The good thing in this situation is that EA can change the formula each year until they find the right one and nobody will complain. 2K can't do that. Any slight change, even if it was for the better, and people would kill them for it.

- It is funny that we, gamers, complain about lack of new IP and at the same time we ask the developer to work on the old franchises. They can't win. But in rare's case I agree with you. They have so many franchises that if they spent two years developing one game from each franchise , they need at least 10 years to go back to the same franchise.

What was so wrong about ME3 ending that led Bioware's name to be in the dirt?! It was a brilliant game and Bioware is one of the best development teams, the best in my opinion.

I voted Kameo in the poll :) Just loved it close second is Banjo though.
