Really hope the Bethesda game of thrones game is real. I figured Arkane to be on it. Rage is avalanche and doom devs right? Bethesda is confirmed to be working on a licensed game and it must be Arkane... don’t know who else it could be. And looking at Arkane they put out  dishounered2 in November 2016, then prey 6 months later. Then 4 months later a big expansion for dishonerd 2. Thing is though they are not a big studio. Gotta be 2 teams though.

 Yep 2 studios. One in France and one in Texas. Wikipedia says the studio is 150 strong but that’s an old number and has to be inaccurate now. Plus they are hiring for 30 positions between both. I know Bethesda was disappointed with the sales of both DH2 and prey. So both those studios will likely move onto something else(after rumored prey expansion). If they are doing GOT that’s probably a big project that would need both studios. 

On another note wouldn’t It be awesome if ms bought them from Bethesda. That would be a perfect 2 team studio. Highly skilled and highly efficient. Also the exact kind of games xbox needs.

Feel bad for Cliff, but tackling MP only games was a massive mistake on his part. Hope that he can come back in the future with a traditional game, If he has the passion I would want him with MS he is still very talented.

I agree. Regardless of the controversial things he says, whether you agree with him or not, he's a talent Microsoft should grab. 

I miss Press Play. They used to be the developer I root for within Microsoft family. They can produce quality small game every year. Never understood the decision to release them. They used to diversify Microsoft output in a nice beautiful way.
Due to Kinect, Microsoft was winning the younger generation in the US and UK in the beginning of the current gen. Games like Lego used to sell the most on Xbox. Those could grow into loyal adults who buy Halo, Gears and other games. With Minecraft, Rare, Ori, and Press Play, Microsoft had the potential to continue keeping the youngsters.

I hope Microsoft will buy/build AA studios and not just focus on AAAA ones. Those games were, once upon a time, the highlight of Xbox 360 library compared to other consoles. Bring Cliff to develop Shadow Complex 2 or something similar.

Cliff might be talented, but he clearly lets his ego get the better of him far too often. Now, maybe this experience will end up being good for him in the long run, and humble him a bit....but until I see some evidence of that, if I'm MS - or anyone for that matter - I'm not hiring him.

I would hire him to help out on Gears and only after he proves his worth again I would let him work on another project as head designer. I doubt that will happen because he will most likely will not want to move his family all the way to Vancouver when he is based from North Carolina and Santa Monica isn't and option because he hate LA. Still wish him luck in the future.

Rage 2 gameplay looks pretty good.

- shadow of tomb raider is gamepass, possibly metro too.
- fh4 in September
- gears spinoff November
- halo spinoff December or January
- ori March
- crackdown not at e3 and releasing next may.
- gears 5 release 2019
- Halo 6 releases 2020
- perfect dark and fable absent at e3.
- marketing rights to tomb raider, metro, battlefield, splinter cell, star field, and cyberpunk.

I would be happy with that e3 personally. Don’t think they get the marketing rights to that many games and I don’t think they jam that many games so close. I think gears spinoff will be spring not November.
