If the Target date is still this year then MS has to show it at E3, it was probably delayed late last year and given more funding by Phil somewhere around October-November so close to an extra year of dev time. I personally wouldn't mind if it was a Q1 2019 release.

Yeah, I don't think January 2019 would be a bad idea. Did wonders for Dying Light/Resident Evil 7/Monster Hunter World.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

To be honest, I don't think Crackdown has the potential to be up there with Halo, Gears or Forza. I see it as a fun franchise, loved by gamers, that will always score 7-8 and sell a couple of millions. I don't think putting time and money will help at this stage. Microsoft wasted money and resources trying to turn it to AAA franchise. They are setting themselves for a failure that could kill the franchise. They should have treated it as a AA project that is released once every generation.

Hopefully I'll be proven wrong.

I think they'll be VERY happy if this thing sells a couple million units. The way it looked last E3, I saw it doing well below 1 million. If it sells a couple million on the reboot, and is generally well received, that's something they can work with going forward.

I never really had any interest in Crackdown when they announced it but it grew on me overtime and I quite liked what I last saw on the gameplay side of Crackdown although it did look a bit rough on the visuals, The combat did look fun and reminded me a lot of Sunset Overdrive which was the main reason I had new interest in Crackdown.

I can't say I really care if it launches this year or next as long as it's not rushed out early for the sake of just releasing it but August or early September if it's ready could be a good window for it but that could be to close to FH4 which will likely launch late September for them to want to put out another exclusive into Game Pass.

I ways always excited for CD3. It's nice to hear MS was receptive to the criticism and have been improving the game across the board. Hopefully a big reveal at E3 is coming.

Klobrille update

I got information something about my CD3 source is not accurate. I expect it’s the release date(?). But since I don’t know for sure I won’t post anything more in regards to that. Just wanted to forward that to you guys.

Hopefully it's Q1 2019 then

Anyone want to play Sea of Thieves in two hours or so? Voyages, Skull Forts, anything goes. Except bullying solo players :P
