Wow that's a tough one.. I love both Metro games and South Park. I'll vote for Metro just because SP was delayed. Close call.

The people who said it was downgraded were people who didn't like Xbox or certain Sony fans, from what I heard Crackdown was always a cel-shaded video game series so this should be normal. Saying it already flop is pretty much jumping the gun, a holiday release is good and will sell better than the likes of Quantum Break and maybe Halo Wars 2. Sunset Overdrive benefitted from a holiday release back in 2014 and sold better than QB. |
I think the main reason that Sunset Overdrive sold better than QB is not because it was a holiday release. QB had negative reviews bashing some gameplay aspects and stating that including TV series was not a good decision. It's kinda sad that it didn't sell good enough to warrant a sequel because it was the most enjoyed Microsoft-published game this gen for me.
I got the metro bundle for 7.50$. That's probably the only thing I'll buy from the sale. Still need to finish a few of my other games.
Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)
halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)
x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.
Forza for sure. The new Far Cry, while it might be fun, isn't really the type of setting I want from a Far Cry game. Far Cry to me, is about exotic, and/or crazy out there settings. Middle America......? Meh
Voted Far Cry 5. Forza Motorsport games (or racing simulators in general) are a bit too same-ish and usually don't add that much. I appreciate the improvements and additions but I don't see much of a point in getting FM every two years. Might be worth it for 4k, but if you already have FM6... meh.

Its not a tangent. You're dismissing the point. Most of the games that released in November had price cuts until the end of the year. I bought COD double pack at full price when it dropped. November is becoming a dangerous place to release games. I said this same thing last year when I heard about Titanfall before the media went were responding to Titanfalls bad sales. Difference is I speculated a reason why they were sending Titanfall to its death by launching it sandwiched in between COD and Battlefield One. |
There is no point. The point you're trying to make literally applies to every single game. So if Crackdown 3 launches and then receives a price cut, it will be just like every other game that launches in November.
You know what is more dangerous than releasing a game in November? Doing what you think they should do, rush a game out in July, just because. LOL. Kind of like after E3, you kept claiming they should be worried about the visuals and delay it to "fix" those, even though the same impressions you'd link about the visuals, also said the game was a complete blast to play. Maybe you just have bad priorities. I'll take a complete and finished game in November and let the publishers worry about themselves over being rushed out a game in July so they can save money.
Out of those 3, definitely Forza.
Not choosing a game that kills Christians kappa.
