Looks pretty neat. I'm still worried that it won't feel different enough from previous installments but I'll definitely keep my eye on this one.

I am not saying that this game looks bad on 3DS, but it would have much more potential on PS4. 

And much less sales potential with a huge budget to make a game that PS4 fans would not  bitch about not having enough polygons.

There would be a fanbase if Capcom starts to release Monster Hunter on it!

You could say that about every game ever. Infact why PS4, why not a suped up PC, no more handhelds games, no more console games.

Looks good for a 3ds title. Wish they would release them on wii u in HD though. Wii u needs games.

The first three Monster Hunter games were on the almighty PS2 and none of them sold great. Portability is a key element for Monster Hunter.

It's not so much a series for Nintendo as it is a series for the lowest common denominator. Capcom is trying like crazy to avoid updating these PS2 graphics. 

 

That being said, day 1 buy.

Uuuh, Monster Hunter has a fiercely dedicated fanbase. They go wherever the series.

Well if the market is on the console and you're making millions with each installment, not to mention the series is Japan only where handhelds reign supreme...I don't see why you'd want to mix it up. This looks like a big departure as far as this series goes regardless but releasing it on the 3DS is the most logical choice.

Interesting how the guy that says he'd wish the game would be on PS4, because it would look better, gets told to "go fuck himself", gets warned by a mod and generally gets called out by a bunch of people in the thread but the 2 people wishing for the game to be on Wii U don't get a reaction at all.

Nice double standards.
