Predictions based off trends of the past and present is always interesting, specially with no information.  When Gamecube was out we didnt expect much from the wii, but then it went on to selling on record breaking pace and sold over 100 million o.O  Then the WiiU came out and many of us expected it to do a repeat while others just said Wii was a fad.  But the WiiU didnt repeat the Wii success like many of us thought.   (Also it could be a handheld, or even a hybrid)

So lets go ahead and predict how well the Nintendo NX can do.  Will it be a success?  Will it sell more than N64, less than?  What does it need to be a success?

I also think will break some record

1) +1,000,000 first week in Japan
2) +1,000,000 first NPD (if will released in the holiday, if not, 600,000 to 800,000)
3) Best first year ever (more than the Wii, let's say +18,000,000 in 2018, the first full year)
4) bigger launch ever in China
5) Best seller lifetime of the 9° generation.

How many NX Nintendo will sell? All of them. That seems reasonable. XD

As such I'd guess

Handheld - 54 million LTD

Home Console - 17 million LTD
