Seeing as the NX will be a handheld itll probably sell 80-100M WW providing Nintendo learned from their mistakes with the 3DS launch.



"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

I think:

NX will be both a handheld and a consol.

handheld will run the same games as the consol version, but at much lower resolution.

Consol will run same games as the handheld, but at much higher resolution.

 

This way developers will code for the consol, but will also potentially have sales for the handheld.

I think this means we go back to a "normal" controller (for the consol).  

(I can see it selling really well if they do it this way)

 

I think it ll sell really well if nintendo does it this way.

It will draw more developers to it, because its 2 markets in 1, which will be more attractive to develop for.

If it's a console, I think 20 million just to be safe. If handheld, I think it would be double the console sales (based on the fact that mobile games are affecting handheld console sales). If both, then I think thr numbers would be around the sam if not more.

I think NX will be a home console, and it will struggle to reach even WiiU numbers.
General public is not interested in buying a console for a limited library of similar games, children who are Nintendo's main target market have moved to mobile (which Nintendo finally realized and decided to follow them after being stubborn for so long), so only the true fans will accept to buy into the console. And there are not many true fans left anymore.
I expect NX to be the last piece of Nintendo hardware ever, before they finally move completely to third party software, toy production and licensing.

As of now, I'd say a little more than Wii U.

What makes people think that the world would care for a Nintendo phone? And I've actually seen something similar being said about a Playstation phone recently as well, who in the world would want that?

A lot of gamers probably, lol.

I mean, it'd have to be a pretty good phone. Plus, they probably wouldn't release yearly revisions, lol.
