me too. 3DS has been out for over 4 years now, not sure why people think this will be a console. 

It will have multiple hardware skus. There will be a handheld portion and a console terminal. This news was leaked a long time ago.

If Nintendo gets their act together and markets it properly, I'd says anywhere between 50-70million. If they continue to be oblivious, keep Iwata running the show, then 10-20million.

If they go with a unified family of devices than I think something like

NX Console, 20-30 million
NX Handheld, 70-80 million
Total, about 100 million

I think it is a handheld. So 55M. But that's just a wild guess, it's hard to predict things this way. They could nail a home run or make a disaster, who knows.
