Why 3.5 stars on Amazon?

Sadly almost every game on Amazon Japan gets bad reviews. Bloodborne got 3.5 as well.

I thought the same thing until I bought a Wii U and lived with it for a week. Now, it's my favorite part of the console. Makes the PS4 feel antiquated by comparison - no joke!

Agreed. I felt the same. I thought it was fairly dumb and then when I bought it I loved it. Particularly for dual screen local multiplayer and using the Internet while paused or if someone changes the TV channel continuing your game. I think we all need to use the word stupid more sparingly. 

I've gamed more ON the gamepad than the TV lol. It's my favorite controller ever, I don't understand the hate. It's super handy to play VC games, browse the ESHOP and their internet browser.

Plus you don't see a lot of jaggies on the gamepad. :p

And the closer I am to the screen, the better I can control the game.

I hope the gamepad will work on their next console as optional controller.

I'm looking forward to this game.

Can someone answer a few questions...

Will XCX have local multiplayer? If so, will it be dual screen? Or split screen?

Why the heck is there only 12,000k pre orders In North America?

Could I convince my wife to play this? What kind of playable characters would she enjoy? shes a crash bandicoot kinda gal :D

Keep in mind 80$ you have spend for this console went into the gamepad. The sales of the wiiu show people want having normal controll who makes the console cheaper like with the ps4 instead the wiius gamepad.

Lack of Sales of the Wii U have no factual correlation with people's hate for the gamepad. That is your conclusion. The u might have sold less without it. We don't know. 

1. No local multiplayer.

2. A release window hasn't been announced for NA, not even a season, so until that's revealed preorders will be on the low side.

3. Big jump from Crash to Xenoblade. Splatoon might be more up her alley if she's wanting a platforming type of game (or even SM3DW). However, you guys could take turns exploring areas or fighting enemies if that's something she would enjoy. There's a character creator at the start of the game so she might also like completely customizing her own avatar.
