1. No local multiplayer.
2. A release window hasn't been announced for NA, not even a season, so until that's revealed preorders will be on the low side.
3. Big jump from Crash to Xenoblade. 
Splatoon might be more up her alley if she's wanting a platforming type of game (or even SM3DW). However, you guys could take turns exploring areas or fighting enemies if that's something she would enjoy. There's a character creator at the start of the game so she might also like completely customizing her own avatar.
