I thought the same thing until I bought a Wii U and lived with it for a week. Now, it's my favorite part of the console. Makes the PS4 feel antiquated by comparison - no joke!

Agreed. I felt the same. I thought it was fairly dumb and then when I bought it I loved it. Particularly for dual screen local multiplayer and using the Internet while paused or if someone changes the TV channel continuing your game. I think we all need to use the word stupid more sparingly.
