Cutting content and selling a week after. The last step for Nintendo. Microtransactions, exclusive expensive DLC (amiibo) and now this. Nintendo is truly an HD member.

Very, very dissapointed with them this gen.

They are already giving us a game that is 300+ hours long.. so this shouldn't bother you as much as it is. Also, the amiibo may be expensive but they can be used for a ton of games. So it's like once you buy, every game that is compatible with them you don't need to buy another.

How the hell can you be dissapointed with them this gen though? They have handled DLC VERY well. The season pass for Hyrule Warriors added a ton of content for $20. The Mario Kart 8 DLC added essentially half a game for $12. Now, the Smash Bros DLC isn't as good. The price for Mewtwo is fine, but I do not like the price for the Mii costumes.

Point is, they are handling DLC better than anyone else this gen. So stop your complaining.

Because Nintendo is handling DLC better (which is a lie as it is as bad as anyone else) doesn't means they are doing good.

He's allowed an opinion last I checked. Yours isn't the only acceptable opinion nor should you force it.

There is a difference between complaining for a good reason, and complaining for a bad reason. :)

Nintendo is doing better with DLC than anyone else this gen. That is not an opinion, that is a fact. So calling him out on that is valid.

I never said he couldn't have his own opinion and I never said mine was the "only acceptable one"

Well in my opinion, CD Projekt Red is doing a pretty bang-up job. All cosmetic DLC is free for all to download; only expansions will be priced.

OT: It sounded fine until: "In addition, there are three more DLC packs containing missions that make it easier to level your characters, earn money and improve their relationships." So if you pay more money, the game is easier?

The DLC containing extra characters and missions sounds fine to me, seeing as they promised a boatload of content to be in the game itself. It's the pay2win type pack that I am not in agreement with.

I'm talking about paid DLC.. sorry I didn't specify that.

Also, many games have that option. Normally, the games aren't that hard to grind (levels, money etc) they just give you options to make it go by super fast. Fire Emblem does that, Shin Megami Tensei IV does that. Lots of RPG's do it. I don't see why you are complaining about that one.

How the hell is Nintendo's DLC just as bad as Ubisofts? Ubisoft's DLC is overpriced for what you get. Nintendo doesn't overprice their stuff.

lol, expensive DLC for amiibo.

Nintendo has 2 of the best DLC ever (price/etc) with MK8+NSLU

Releasing the better tracks as paid content and leaving the boring ones in the original game is not the best DLC.

Solely because it is a thread about Xenoblade. I would complain about it in any other game as well; provided it was brought up. Furthermore I have had no exposure to Fire Emblem or SMT4 but if I had, you bet I would have expressed the same opinion. I have a much higher interest in Xenoblade than I do those games.

It isn't like it is a multiplayer competitive game that would give you an advantage over another player for paying; it isn't on that level. Nonetheless, I disagree with paying extra money to rush through a game. Just not my cup of tea.

Fire Emblem if: 2 separate games, third road as DLC day 1

Fire Emblem Awakening: overpriced maps

Super Smash Bros U: useless mii costumes, smash ballout, DLC character that should have come with the game

Mario Party 10: an entire mode of the game, the classic one, locked to be used exclusively with amiibos

Hyrule Warriors: Spinner locked behind an expensive figurine

Mario Kart 8: game full of uninteresting characters, selling more with DLC, better tracks as payable DLC

The tracks being better in MK8 is a subjective statement. That is your own opinion that the DLC tracks are better than the first ones.

Also, they didn't even work on the DLC until way later. Which counts to how well they handle DLC.

Then by that logic Xenoblade DLC being ready at launch means they handled bad.

I'm pretty sure you are right. Just nitpick. It was my fault to expect great content for a game I paid.
