Yet another release of SFIV isn't special, no. As a game in general, I'm sure it's fantastic but it releasing on the PS4 isn't some grand event that makes all other fighting games worthy of peasants, as you are making it out to be.

Just not what competitive/hardcore fighting gamers wants to play (most due gameplay issues)... Smash is played more by casuals and that is why it sell a lot.

SSB might be played alot more by casuals, but you cant ignore the competitive scene, Which btw are supporting 3 SSB games.

SSB Project M is bigger than most fighters despite its decline recently (because of SSB4)

SSBU is Huge and arguably top 5, if not top 3 biggest scenes in competitive.

SSBM.... 14 year old game that will not be dying anytime soon and is #2 biggest competitive scene fighter.

Killer Instict jumpedthe f*** up too, game is ridiculously popular now

There will be 17 and full story mode by end of June. Known future characters is Cinder and Aria. Tusk, Eyedol, Kim Wu, and Gargos has already been confirmed for Season 3 if MSFT continues with KI which with the amount of success they have had im pretty sure they will.
