I never pirated games, but I have until recently exploited Sony's loopholes to split a digital game onto three accounts, thus paying only 1/3 for each game. Sadly, since update 2.50 that hole has been plugged, so in the future I will have to buy games without sharing. But, I will still exploit the system to resell those digital games once I'm done with them.
As for other forms of entertainment, I haven't paid a single cent for music, movies or TV series in about a decade. I regularly download them for free.

Oh definitely! I don't feel bad about emulation at all. But the only computer software I have that I did not torrent (or that did not come with the PC) is WinRar's endless free trial lol, and truth be told I feel worse about that WinRar free trial than I do about torrenting.
i have pirate a single game but because original one not worked on my pc ^^ but i can say i don't mind pirate some anime or series, i don't have this much money for everthing but i buy all one i really love.
I've pirated a lot of GBA games at one point.
These days, I NEVER pirate.

If you are a console gamer, it is not that easy to pirate, though. Nowadays consoles are either too uninteresting for hackers (like failoverflow said about WiiU) or are really good closed (like PS4 and Xbone). The days of Wii and OG Xbox were way too easy to hack.
I think being able to hack a console and how convenient it is is crucial to how many people will actually pirate games for a system.

I have never owned a Ps2, Movie or PC game which is legit, they are all pirated.
I use to install modchips into ps1/2's xbox's wii's and even flashed a few 360 drives, but now I.m legit
I was a pirate since I was born. The PS1 was sold here with pirated copies of videogames. You couldn't find original copies (and they where too expensive anyway) and the pirated copies where a cheap solution.
After that I went ahead and used emulators. I played a lot of games thanks to that.
Now I pay for them but I still use piracy from time to time, mainly to help a friend get his PS2 games because they are impossible to find here. I never felt guilty, sorry for being born an asshole.

Interesting to see how many don't care pirating other stuff besides games :)
But it's not that easy nowadays with strong encryption, online requirements and drm.
