Well, games are software, though... ;) We also have to consider that by emulation we can play games that we weren't even able to get. For example FF6 in Europe. Or fan-translated games that you are able to play via emulators. I don't even know how anyone could feel bad when they play a fan-translated game which was never released in this way.

Oh definitely! I don't feel bad about emulation at all. But the only computer software I have that I did not torrent (or that did not come with the PC) is WinRar's endless free trial lol, and truth be told I feel worse about that WinRar free trial than I do about torrenting.
